hello, i’m ashley.
thank you for being here. ♡

All that I am, I give thanks and owe first to the ancestors who walked before me. Through their hard work, resilience, and devotion, I've been blessed to walk a path of service.
My grandma has always told me that when we are given knowledge, it is a gift from God, and it is then our duty to share that gift with others. Those words have become a guiding principle in my life.
Throughout my lifetime, I've learned many lessons through transformative initiations—abuse, addiction, child loss, soul-searching cross-country road trips, breaking away from corporate and capitalist norms, and an ancestral awakening, to name a few. While these experiences shaped me, they do not define me. They became invitations to heal, to grow, and to return home to myself.
Embracing my faith led me toward a path illuminated by purpose, compassion, and reverence for life, anchored in self-love and a deep connection to Earth and Spirit.
In 2015, I rediscovered my faith through yoga and meditation courses in college after many rebellious teenage years. Although my healing journey continued for several years, everything began to shift in 2018 when I left an abusive relationship, stepped away from corporate America, and wholeheartedly committed myself to a life of intentional living.
Around that time, I founded a crystal jewelry business where I witnessed the transformative power of intention, symbolism, and meaningful connection. Creating jewelry became more than an artistic practice—it became a doorway into intuition, ceremony, and personal transformation.
For over a decade, I have devoted myself to the study and practice of holistic wellness through books, retreats, mentorship, and immersive experiences. With a deep love for nature and adventure, I've been fortunate to learn from many lands and their peoples—including Peru, Ecuador, Sedona, Mount Shasta, Hawaiʻi, Costa Rica, and my ancestral homeland of Guyana. Each place has offered its own teachings, reminding me that healing is always a reciprocal relationship between ourselves and the living world.
In 2020, I was introduced to Cha Dao (The Way of Tea), which quickly became a daily practice and continues to shape the way I move through life. That same year I was attuned to Reiki, further deepening my relationship with energy, presence, and holistic healing. In 2023, I completed a Herbalism certification, expanding my understanding of plant medicine and natural approaches to wellness.
In 2024, I returned to school to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Alternative Medicine. Through this journey, I've had the opportunity to study alongside and learn from acupuncturists, practitioners of Traditional Chinese Medicine, naturopathic doctors, nutritionists, and other integrative healthcare professionals. This education has deepened my appreciation for the wisdom of both traditional healing systems and modern scientific understanding, strengthening my commitment to evidence-informed, whole-person wellness.
After more than ten years of personal yoga practice, I felt called to take the next step. In 2025, I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, allowing me to share the practices that have so profoundly transformed my own life. Teaching yoga has become a natural extension of my commitment to creating spaces where others can reconnect with themselves through mindful movement, breath, and stillness.
As a child, when people asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would simply answer, "happy." Looking back, I realize that answer contained more wisdom than I understood at the time. Years of learning and unlearning have taught me accountability, forgiveness, compassion, and the courage to let go of what no longer serves me so that my heart, joy, and authenticity could shine.
This journey has ultimately led me home—to the essence of who I am, to the wisdom of my ancestors, and to that innocent childhood intention of living a happy and meaningful life.
Whether through Cha Dao Tea Ceremony, yoga, meditation, herbalism, or creating intentional jewelry and art, my deepest intention is to offer spaces that invite presence, reverence, healing, and authentic connection. My hope is that these offerings support you in remembering your own wholeness and walking your unique path with greater peace, purpose, and joy.
