Crafted in honor of Yemaya, the great ocean mother and guardian of the deep, this necklace and earring set carries the spirit of sacred waters, feminine power, and intuitive wisdom. Yemaya is the Orisha of the ocean in Yoruba tradition - protector of women and children, goddess of fertility, and embodiment of nurturing strength.
The use of cowrie shells, once used as currency and known as symbols of femininity, fertility, and wealth, honors her role as life-giver and divine mother. Aquamarine, a stone of calm, clarity, and flow, echoes the cleansing energy of ocean tides and supports emotional healing, communication, and intuition.
