Yoga
A practice of presence, connection, and coming home to yourself.
Yoga is more than movement… it is a way of being. Rooted in an ancient tradition, yoga offers a path toward balance by integrating the body, breath, mind, and spirit. While physical postures (asana) are one expression of the practice, they are only one part of a much deeper journey.
My classes invite you to slow down, listen inward, and cultivate awareness through mindful movement, breathwork, meditation, and moments of stillness. Whether you're brand new to yoga or have practiced for years, you are welcome exactly as you are.

My teaching is rooted in the Eight Limbs of Yoga, a timeless framework described in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. Rather than viewing yoga solely as physical exercise, these teachings offer a path toward living with greater awareness, balance, and inner peace.
The Eight Limbs include:
Yama – Ethical principles that guide how we relate to others with compassion, honesty, and non-harming.
Niyama – Personal practices that cultivate self-awareness, contentment, discipline, and inner growth.
Asana – Physical postures that build strength, flexibility, stability, and ease within the body.
Pranayama – Breathwork practices that support the flow of energy, calm the nervous system, and deepen presence.
Pratyahara – Turning inward by gently withdrawing from external distractions to cultivate mindfulness.
Dharana – Focused concentration that trains the mind to remain present and attentive.
Dhyana – Meditation, allowing sustained awareness and a deeper connection to oneself.
Samadhi – A state of profound peace, unity, and connection that arises through dedicated practice.
While every class may not explicitly include each limb, they all inform the way I teach. Together, these practices create an experience that goes beyond movement—inviting you to slow down, breathe deeply, cultivate mindfulness, and carry the principles of yoga into everyday life.

My classes are especially supportive for those who:
Are new to yoga and looking for a welcoming place to begin.
Desire a slower, more mindful approach to movement.
Want to reduce stress and support their nervous system.
Are seeking greater balance, clarity, and presence in daily life.
Wish to deepen their understanding of yoga beyond the physical practice.
You don't need to be flexible or experienced—only willing to arrive with an open mind.
-
Each practice is an invitation to reconnect with yourself.
You'll be encouraged to move at your own pace, honor your body's wisdom, and approach the practice without judgment. Some days we'll flow gently, some days we'll linger in stillness, and some days we'll simply learn to breathe more fully.
My hope is that you leave each session feeling more grounded, more present, and more connected than when you arrived.

Whether you're interested in joining a group class or scheduling a private session, I'd be honored to share this practice with you.
I look forward to welcoming you to the mat.
